This year’s pageant held special significance as the event marked its 70th anniversary. The Miss Hopkins County-Madisonville Fair pageant began in 1955 with its very first winner, Mary Stewart Mitchell. Over the decades, it has grown into a proud tradition that highlights the achievements, character, and leadership of young women from across the county.
What started as a small community competition has become one of the fair’s most anticipated events, drawing generations of families and supporters each year. As Nataleigh takes on her new role, she joins a long line of distinguished titleholders who have proudly worn the crown for the past seven decades.
The 70th annual pageant was a celebration of both the future and the past—a night to honor the newest queen while remembering the legacy of those who paved the way.
